I'm on Youtube

Well can you beleive it I have a channel on youtube, thats why I have not been updating my blog like I wanted I am addicted to youtube and when I turn on my computer that is the first place I go and stay there until I get tired and fall asleep. well anyway I love love love youtube and I'm having a great time there, I have learned so many new tips and techs there my scrapping has been taken to a whole new level and I love it well I will be posting on a regular from now on, now that I now how to combine the two (blogging and youtube) lol ok I'm going back over to youtube to learn a little more but will post more today.

Ohhh Nooooo

I cant beleive it  my Fiskers paper trimmer broke and I was broken hearted I love that trimmer I dont know  how I crafter without it before, I was in the living room watching tv and heard something fall (my dd and my dgd were in my craft room) when I came to see what fell they told me nothing, well later on when I came to craft and picked up my paper trimmer it was broken, well not broken to the point I couldnt use it but the cutting line that runs from one end to the other had popped off

I just couldnt beleive it I could still cut things but I had to go back to guessing if the cut would be correct (thanks alot girls) well any way I went to me lss to mabye get me another one when one of the girls said why don't you call Fiskers first and I did and you know what, those sweet people at Fiskers took all my info told me to take a picture and email it to them and low and behold they sent me another trimmer I love love love Fiskers and will not buy another trimmer that dose not have their name on it, I love this trimmer and would not trade it for the world, well I guess my story is saying Fiskers has a great costumer service department and they can have my business any day.well thats enough for tonight see you all tomorrow I have a lot to tell you

Christmas is Over

O.K now that Christmas is finally over and behind me I can finally get some scrapping done, I still have about 6 swaps that I have to finish between now and February. wish me luck anywho here are some of the things I've been working on, first this is an album that I made for my daughter for christmas its a recpie book with recipies from me and my mother,

I think she really liked it, she is always asking me and my mother how did you make that, write that down for me so I thought this would be the perfect gift, I loaded up the basket with spices that some of the recipies called for and some measuring spoons and cups

I got on you tube and searched mini albums and came across this one I thought it was very cool, not like your regular paper bag albums this one opens very different.

Its like a double hinge book opens two ways and has a little suprise in the middle

two little circle places I love this book I may not make another one in a long time but it was fun when I started.

these are matchbooks for a swap they have coco inside them I used my embossing jacket and I really like using that thing, I will be embossing a lot now I love it, love what it dose to a plan piece of paper

another match book these are little flowers inside this one is for the spring group in the swap well thats it for now, gonna surf the web a little and then its nitie night for me, will be back tomorrow with more of my artwork, until then night

I've been busy

O.K I've been really busy for the last few weeks, first of all I've been joining swap after swap after swap, and just got a breather where I can take a rest before the next batch of swaps are due well let me give a few examples of some of the things I've been swapping

this is a file folder I convereted into a mini album I was so proud of this one (I found a totatural on you tube) this one was sent away to my buddy in Canada for the 25 days of chirstmas swap I really hopes she likes it I put her name on the tab to personaliz it for her

this is the inside of the mini album, I love the way it came together I kinda hated to send it to her, but I figured I could always make me another one.

these are some bags i made for a bag, tag and pin swap, boy am I proud of them I made 15 of them and will get 15 back I think I will have to make me some more, I joined this swap to start getting my christmas gifts together hopeing that when they get back all I have to do is fill them up with my hand made gifts and give them to the happy recipent.

joined a 12 days of christmas swap had to make my buddy 12 gifts and send them to her and I get 12 back, that was fun, well any way this is a post it holder I think it came out very well I used bazzell flowers and my bind-it-all and then stamped her initinal on every page of the post-it nice

had to make lollypop flowers, this was my first attempt at making these flowers I never heard of them before this swap but you know it was rather fun and if I make enough of these I just might get real good at them.

yes it is another file folder mini and this one turned out really well, I did it in the christmas them all sparkley and glitterey, I did'nt put a name on this one cause I wanted her to be able to use it for what ever she wanted

here is the inside of the folder nice right at least I think so, I have to make myself one of these, everytime I think I'm making one for me I wind up giving it away.

had to alter a wooden picture frame, I was inspired by a pice of pattern paper from my dye-cuts-with-a-view stack so I did the houses on the bottom snow flakes on top and then put some crystal lacquer on all the houses to make them shine here is a close up

had to make a mini album so I designed this one on my gypsy and cut it out dressed it up with my sillhouette and her it is, got this idea from you tube totural on the gypsy I forgot the ladie who did it after watching a few videos, she was the one I understood the most we will talk more about my gypsy later

BOAB

that stands for budget on a box, that is a swap I'm in at the cricut site and I'm loving every day of it  I worked on 25 different hand made gifts and sent them to my partner and she did the same for me well starting December 1st until the 25th you open one hand made gift a day, and I'm loving every day of it this is what I opened on day one

this is an atc (artist trading card) and they are beautful that little snow man is 3d and just jumps off the card at you, the stockings are just as cute as they can be

its a ornament, not a tree ornament but a table or shelf ornament I love it got to find a picture to put in that yellow spot I cant wait to display it this christmas when I start decorating.

gypsy give-a-way
