My love hate relationship with ebay

yes I have a love hate relationship with ebay I love it for the simple fact that everything and anything I could every want is on that site and I do mean everything, I hate it because you have to bid on things and I never never never ever win so I always wind up buying the item right out but you know what even when I but it now it is still cheeper than if I went to the store and got it, take for instance this cartridge for my cricut.

been wanting this cartridge since I heard it was comming out but I could not afford to pay $89.00 for it. Now Walmart has citcut cartridges for $60.00 but they dont have this one, but you know who dose thats right Ebay and I spent half a day online bidding for this cartridge with one seller or another and always lost someone always out bid me. but thats alright, because I just brought it now and now I'm a happy liettle camper, thats right I got it and I didnt pay and arm and leg for it either, I really wanted this thing and I cant wait to get it, I think I want to give away cookbooks for christmas and this is just the  cartridge to do it. but you know what I could have cut it out on my sillhouette and got almost the same results, but I just had to have this one, theres one more that I have to get my hands on its called a walk in my garden cause I'm a sucker for flowers and that cartridge is loaded with them, o.k I'm gonna go to sleep now I'm already in the bed so gonna shut this laptop down and roll over and go to sleep, have to go to work in the morning.

Some of my work

O.K I finally took and downloaded some pictures of my work for swaps and other things and now I'm ready to post some of them. first I blogged on my die cutting machines so now I will show you what I do with these machines.

first time I really cut anything from this cartridge and liked it, I played with it once and then put it away but I really like them I'm gonna have to do something with them mabye a book or something but I really like my little elephand and hippo these were cut with my little circut
now this little fish is from the same cartridge as the elephant and hoppo I tell you I really played with this cartridge this week after cutting everything out and putting it together I relized something was missing WATER so I pulled out my tursty crystal lacquer and (whalla) I had a fish tank.I like it
here are some tags I made for a swap I'm in these go under the group coffee they came out really nice dont you think, (I do) cant wait to see what I get back. Oh yeah you have no idea what a swap is well let me school you a little. A SWAP is when two or more people get together and make a number of the same item and gives one to everyone in the group when your done you have one of a number items each one made by a different person I join swaps a lot and I really have to slow my roll because I have been doing nothing but swaps for the last 2 months but we'll diccuss that in another post lets look at some more of my work
gotta love this School Bus (at least I do) I thought it was just stinking cute after I put it all together but it also was missing something so again out came the crystal lacquar and the windows on the bus shine like new money I just love it.
Now these cute little tags are for (of course) another swap but they are cute, these are for a shopping group, I cut these with my sillhoutte, that little michane is very nice you can change anything you want as far as the cut goes, if you only want three boxes take one out if you want more add more on it really is a great machine and if you sit down and take the time to work with it you can cut anything you want and I do mean anything
I'm not even gonna tell you any more what there for because by now you should know ( A SWAP) these are for a chocolate group the little kisses were cut with the sillhoutte also it didnt have any layers to help it along I had to freehand the wrapper underneath I like these kisses you can bet you will see them again mabye on a page or something elese I create.
this is a match book for ohhh I'm not even gonna say but it was fun to make I have to make 5 more but this was also cut with the shilloutte aint he cute and ulgy at the same time. inside there are 3 holloween erasers you can give them away to trick-or-treaters when they come around but who wants to just give away something like this this was a lot of hard work, but I may make a few more and give them to my nieces and nephews for holloween. I think they will like them.
here is my favoriet its a school house cut with the cricut I think this is just adorable love it hate to part with it so I'm gonna have to do me another one. once I'm finished with all these swaps I'm gonna start doing some things for myself and family.
O.K thats all on my machines for now but I will be back shortly to show you something else.

I'm hooked

ok its offical I am addicted to scrapbooking and all the lovley things that comes with it I have taken into account that I have enought machines to keep me busy for the next 20 years I should be able to make pages from now till eturnety and beyond. This is my baby cricut and I love it, she makes me look like a pro at the things I do,  shes a great cutter and been a loyal friend to me for our time together, but just like mordern tech shes getting old there are times I put the mat in and it just gets stuck but after turning it off and on again she starts working fine, now the only draw back to this little baby is it cuts with cartridges and they cost around $80.00 each now cricut has a lot of great cartridges but who can afford that.

these are some things that I have cut with my little baby this is a birthday card I made for a challange over at scrapbook.com it was entered in a contest and I didnt even get one vote but thats ok cause i like my card I think its cute.
this is a bag I made for Ashley's birthday I made 5 others for the girls she invited to her party but thats another story and another machine.

now this is the big girl I just got her and I love love love her she can cut the same cartridges as the little baby but much larger and when I say larger I mean larger this one uses a 12x12 cutting mat and has a lot more fancy butons to make it do things that the little baby just wont do flip lcd screen flip button quanty button and much much more.
.I cut these flowerw with the big girl and I love them I can now make my own embellishments and don't have to buy them anymore

now here is my ssilhouette another machine I love love now the silhouette goes on a completly different concept then the cricuts, first you have to connect it to a computer and that makes it very hard to transport to crops and such, but not impossable. thats the down side of this machine, but the up side is there is no cartridges to by just plug it into the wall, computer, bring up the software and you can download just about anything on the quickutz site and boy oh boy they have just about anything you can think of I have joined the unlimited download club and can download as much as I want any time I want I love that part if I'm scrapping at 3 am and need a certain die if its not in my library I can go to the site and download it, not a problem, this one also uses a mat and the size of this one is 8 1/2 x 11 thats about as big as it gets but the images are limitless because in this software you can change the images where as the cricut you cannot change anything your are pretty much stuck with what you got.

these are some of the things I cut with the silhouette they are just stinkin cute and when embellished right they look like they just came out of the store.
here is a cake I made for a challange ( I do a lot of swaps and challanges dont I)
ok now that was my electrict machines her is my little hand crank baby, this one has a special place in my heart because it comes with a nice carrying case and I don't have to plug it in so I can take it to any crop I go to now my problem with this is I think I put something to big into it and now when I crank something into it some of my plastick gears start falling out, I have to call quickuts to find out how to repair it but all in all its a good machine, now this one cuts dies and they can cost anywhere from 1 dollar to 150 dollars I dont have a lot of dies for this machine, but the ones I do have are nice I just need to use them

this is my latest little girl shes another crank machine and will cut any die on the market, shes kind of chuckey but it is suppose to take the place of all the other crank machines I have. shes cut dosnt have a little carrying case but I like the wide open mouth so I dont have to cut my paper in such small peices to make my cuts, but I like it.
now thes little one is called the big squeeze it cuts 2x2 dies only and i only have one set of these so I really cant do much with it but I like the font so I use it often when I make mini albums and such.
now i saved the best for last this is my Zutter bind it all its a little machine that binds books together and when I first saw her it was love at first sight, I saved up my little nickels and a relationship was formed I live this one because I really never have to buy another small album again I can make them any sized and shape now if that aint cool I  dont know what is.
so thats my machines and now that I get a chance to look at them side by side here I relize that I got them because I was tired of looking for embelishments and mini albums it just sucked if I found what I was looking for it wasnt the right color or size, so now when I scrap and need a bug or a car I go to one of my little machines and cut it out in the size and color I need, and when I want to make a mini book I go to my little zutter and bind it up after I cut every thing out . well thats all for now, will post tomorrow I think I will go through my scrap room and see what else I have an over abundunce of. lol

I got it

WOW I did it I got my blog right and looking good now I think I will start posting more so when I get home I have some thing I want to say but I need my pictures and my own computer so tonight I will start a new trend and will try to post everynight something anything but something

diaper cake

I made my first diaper cake for my niece baby shower and I was very proud of the way it turned out it took me and the girls about 2 hours to put it together, but it really was not all that hard we rolled and put rubberbands and rolled and rubber banded 4 packs of diapers (did i mention that this was my first one) I think it turned out alright, got a lot of things I will do different next time but for my first time I think we did good, everyone loved it at the baby show it was just what I wanted it to be the center of everything, the color was right, the size was right it was just right and now all the babies are born, theres no one else to make a dipar cake for, o well this was fun while it lasted
